Living Lab is a two-person research collective working out of a converted bakery on the south side of Lyon. Founders Marie Bouchet and Théo Lemaire met while completing soil-microbiology PhDs in Montpellier; they started Living Lab to make commercial-grade microbial starters available to home growers. Each starter sachet is QC-tested against a reference inoculant batch held in their lab fridge. The kit is what they use at home.
